In Progress: Miniature pendant after da Vinci

It has a little ways to go yet, but I thought I'd share this in-progress photo of a new miniature pendant painting I'm working on.  It's a 1.5" diameter hand-painted study of the angel from Leonardo da Vinci's painting Virgin of the Rocks (National Gallery, London).  The completed study will be more developed and detailed, and then set into the pendant frame to display or wear as a necklace.  You can pre-order here: ThePearlPaintbrush.etsy.com.
